I think the reason why Venus was only seen in one TMNT show incarnation was because fans saw her as a "Scrappy Doo" sort of character who had "ruined" the show, but personally I had liked Venus :). I think adding a female turtle to the mix had added alot to the group chemistry/dynamic & overall show. Her character also gave April someone to have girltalk/female bonding moments with :). The only thing that I would've changed about Venus was her TMNT color. I would've made her TMNT color pink rather than blue, so that people don't get her mixed up with Leonardo or think that Leonardo got a sex change.
